THE TEAM

With the exception of the individuals comprising the core group of Friends of Good Samaritan, members of the team change from year to year. The team is comprised at all times of at least one general surgeon, one gynecologist, one anesthesiologist, two operating room nurses and ancillary help in the form of pre-medical/medical students. Each year the team has been fortunate to be accompanied by one or two surgeons of various specialties - pediatrics, orthopedics, thoracic -, additional anesthesiologists and/or CRNAs, as well as people involved in other aspects of health care - recovery room nurses, scrub techs, anesthesia techs, etc. Past team members have hailed from New York, Canada, Massachusetts and as far away as Italy.
